Cinnamon Vanilla Oatmeal Breakfast Bars Recipe     (made with Quest Vanilla Protein Powder)

I am not sure if you have heard of the health brand Quest yet? But they are my absolute FAVORITE!!!!! Their protein bars are soooo addicting! Which I typically do not like protein bars, I find them to taste "chalky"... but not these ones. They are yummy! They recently came out with their PROTEIN POWDER, which is awesome too!! I love to bake and cook with this protein powder, I find its consistency perfect for that. 

Here is a recipe I threw together and I LOVED IT!!! I love experimenting with health foods like this... you never know when things will turn out good or not. This one was a winner! 

Ingredients:

2 scoops Vanilla Quest Protein Powder

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1/2 cup oatmeal/ whole grain oats

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking powder

4 packets of Truvia calorie free sweetener

1 cup unsweetened almond milk ( sweetened would probably taste good too)

*Blend everything in a blender. I used my nutri bullet. 

*Spread in baking dish. I used an 8x8 PYREX baking dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown on top and raised

Optional: Drizzle honey on top, or top with a bit of jam.

Makes 6 bars. They are quite filling. I will eat 2 or 3 for breakfast. 

I love that they are not TOO sweet. They are just right in my opinion.
